The team behind SUPERSTAR FIGHT LEAGUE is based at the world-renowned Suggy’s Gym in Newark, Nottinghamshire, the home of fighters and fitness since 1988.
Here you’ll also find Newark Amateur Boxing Club and Cryo Health & Beauty UK, the only clinic of its kind in the East Midlands specialising in the treatment of sports-related injuries and other pain relief.
Leading the SFL team is head coach Dean Sugden, himself a former world champion kickboxer, who is the promoter and match-maker of its events and manager of the gym’s professional boxers and kickboxers, among them the three Sugden brothers – boxers Chad and Regis and GLORY kickboxer Bailey…
Following a number of successful events in and around Newark, in September 2019 Dean joined forces with long-term friend and fellow promoter Steve Kerridge to launch Fightmax Superstar Fight League, a new joint venture which they say will open up exciting opportunities for the UK‘s top talents to progress on the world stage.
The new partnership’s first show took place on on Saturday 5 October 2019 at the Grantham Meres Leisure Centre in Lincolnshire and we’re looking forward to bringing more of the same to venues accross the UK in the not too distant future.
